As a creator, both as a writer and artist, Howard has been a major influence for comic creators, past and present. His work includes such landmarks as The Shadow, Blackhawk, Time Squared, American Flagg!, Black Kiss, Mighty Love, Divided States of Hysteria, Twilight, Batman: Houdini, and many, many more.
